Where are Leo Foods’ fresh products available?
Our fresh products are exclusively available in Cape Town. For those outside Cape Town, don’t worry – we still offer a variety of other delicious confectioneries, available at some of your favourite retail outlets, like Yuppiechef and NetFlorist.
I live in Cape Town and have purchased products on your online store. How do I collect my Leo Foods fresh cake or tart order?
Our fresh products are available for collection from our bakery in Westlake, Cape Town. We operate Monday–Thursday 08h00–16h00 and Friday 08h00–15h00. We are not open on public holidays or weekends.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
Our cakes and tarts are baked to order every day. Please allow at least 3 days lead time so that we can fit your order onto our busy baking roster. Please specify in the comments section of your order what day you would like to collect.
How should I store Leo Foods’ products?
For optimal freshness, store our confectioneries in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is required for all fresh items like cakes and tarts.

At the core of our local bakery are the traditional methods of artisan baking, which are still followed in Italy today. We pride ourselves on using only the finest quality ingredients whilst ensuring to keep all products as natural as possible. Due to the nature of the types of decadent and delicious products that we make, most of our products do contain dairy, egg, flour and nuts. Can I customize Leo Foods’ products for special occasions?
We are efficient in our baking process, by keeping the level of customisation to a minimum. We are however able to put a message in chocolate on the top of your cake. We are also able to share fun ideas so that you can add a little bit of something extra to your cake at home.
